Abaran Foundation donates computers and laptops to government school in Bangalore, Conducts free dental camp for 100 children from the school.
Bangalore, February 2, 2020: Abaran Foundation, the CSR arm of Bangalore-based Abaran Timeless Jewellery today donated computers and laptops to Government High School, Ketamaranhalli Bengaluru. The computers and laptops were handed over to the school authorities by Smt. Lakshmi Kamath, Trustee, Abaran Foundation.
As part of the CSR initiative, a dental camp was organized where a team of dentists checked and examined the students. Later the children were issued a dental report and also the dentists made a presentation to the students on oral hygiene.
Commenting on the announcement, Pratap Kamath, Managing Director of Abaran Timeless Jewellery and Managing Trustee of Abaran Foundation said, “This is a small way of giving back to the society. Today, the world is getting digitized and digital literacy in schools will help students in early stages of life to adopt technology. We are pleased to donate these computers to government school today and we hope students will immensely benefit our contribution.”
He further adds, “We also believe that healthy growth of children is critical in their wellbeing and development. To aid this, we decided to create awareness around oral hygiene by conducting a free dental camp for students.”
Mr. K Mallikarjuna Gowda, Headmaster of Government High School, Ketamaranhalli said, “Abaran Foundation has set an example of giving back to society and we thank Pratap Kamath for his generous contribution. With these computers, our students will now open themselves to a new world and learn digital. We also thank Abaran Foundation for conducting free dental camp for our children.”
